END OF TENANCY CLEANING CORK - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.General

1.1.    End of Tenancy Cleaning Cork charges per job based on the size of the property. Our charges take into account the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets, ensuites, utility rooms and the number of floors etc.

1.2.    The quoted price is not influenced by the number of cleaners assigned to a job.

1.3.    End of Tenancy Cleaning Cork reserves the right to modify the initial quote in the event of changes to the Client's original or ongoing requirements.

1.4.    If keys need to be collected from a location more than 3 miles from where the cleaning is scheduled a €20 charge will be applied.

1.5.    The price provided is based on the cleaning of one of each of the following appliances: single fridge freezer, single oven, standard hob, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble drier. If the Client requests the cleaning of larger and/or additional appliances, an extra charge will apply for each required item.

1.6.    For Bedrooms exceeding 20 square meters and Living rooms exceeding 40 square meters, the quoted price will be subject to an increase.

1.7.    The customer acknowledges that the quoted price does not constitute a "package deal" and does not cover upholstery cleaning, carpet cleaning, amenities cleaning, mattress cleaning, ceiling and wall cleaning, balconies/terraces, the exterior of windows, external areas and other items outlined in the 'What’s not included in our standard service' section. Any additional required services can be requested from the Client and quoted for according to the Clients needs.

1.8.    We provide basic estimates of how long it will take the cleaners to complete the required job. Please note that these are only based on the average time it takes to clean a property of similar size to the Client’s. Due to the difficulty in precisely estimating the duration of such tasks, a certain degree of flexibility is necessary. We work till the job is done to the expected standard.

2.Payments

2.1.    A non-refundable €50 deposit may need to be provided at the time of booking using a debit / credit card over the phone or through a secured email link.

2.2.    Full payment or the remaining balance (if deposit taken) will be processed once service is complete. Unless stated otherwise, the payment will be automatically charged to the original card used for the deposit.

3.Liability

End of Tenancy Cleaning Cork accepts no liability under any circumstances for any loss, expenses, damages, delays, costs, or compensation (whether direct, indirect, or consequential) that may be incurred by the Client, arising from or in any way associated with:

3.1.    The failure to provide End of Tenancy cleaning services due to factors beyond its control. Such factors may include severe amber or red weather warnings leading to conditions such as flood, storms, and snow, as well as the inability to access premises and the lack of necessary resources like water, electricity, and lighting.

3.2.    Failure to provide the End of Tenancy cleaning services due to illness. Clients will be made aware of any such instances of sickness within 4 hours of provided service and will have the opportunity of a rescheduled appointment, cancellation plus refund if deemed appropriate.

3.3.    Prior to commencing work, photographs will be taken to document any pre-existing damage to the property, such as old stains, burns, or spillages, which cannot be completely cleaned or removed using industry standard methods.

3.4.    Unsatisfactory cleaning results may occur if the Client or a third-party walks on wet floors, uses appliances, or creates a mess during or shortly after the cleaning process.

4.Client Responsibilities - Preparation of the Property

4.1.    If keys and / or codes, including alarm codes are provided to the Cleaners in advance of service, they must permit easy access without the need for any special efforts or skill. The property must be readily accessible.

4.2.    The refrigerator and freezer should be turned off and defrosted before cleaning to ensure a thorough cleaning process.

4.3.    The Client is responsible for ensuring that the property has functioning hot water, electricity, and appropriate lighting throughout the duration of the clean.

4.4.    The Client is responsible for ensuring that all personal belongings are removed from the property prior to the arrival of the cleaners. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in End of Tenancy Cleaning Cork cancelling the booking upon arrival and/or increasing the price.

5.Cleaning Products and Equipment

5.1.    Cleaners will arrive fully equipped and prepared with all the necessary cleaning supplies and equipment to perform the service.

6.Parking and Other Charges

6.1.    Our cleaning team will need access to a parking space or valid permit for one vehicle.

6.2.    The Client is responsible for covering any costs associated with parking, including metered parking, to enable our team to perform the scheduled cleaning service.

6.3.    The Client shall be responsible for payment in full of any parking fines arising from the actions / non actions of the Client.

7.Refunds

7.1.    As per our 7 Day Guarantee, we do not offer refunds.

7.2.    Refunds will only be provided if the Client has cancelled the cleaning service within the specified timeframe of 48 hours prior to the scheduled service start.

8.Cancellations

8.1.    The Client must provide End of Tenancy Cleaning Cork with a minimum of 48 hours' notice in writing, via email, or by phone call to cancel the booking. Any deposit paid will be reimbursed.

8.2.    The Client is required to pay the entire price of the service that has been booked if:

8.2.1. The Client terminates the booking with less than 48 hours’ notice.

8.2.2. If the Client decides to cancel the service upon the arrival of the cleaners onsite then the full amount for the original quote will be due in full.

8.2.3. Cleaners arrive at the property and are unable to access the Client's premises through no fault of End of Tenancy Cleaning Cork, a phone call to the registered Client number will be made 15 minutes after expected time, followed by a text message. If no contact has been forthcoming from the Client following a further 30 minutes for a total of 45 minutes, our cleaners will leave the property.

9.Miscellaneous

9.1.    We strive to be punctual for every visit, but occasionally, unforeseen transportation issues or other problems beyond our control may result in cleaners arriving late or requiring a rescheduled cleaning visit.

9.2.    The cost does not cover the removal of any leftover debris from tradesman or construction work, unless specifically mentioned otherwise.

9.3.    End of Tenancy Cleaning Cork reserves the right to modify any section of these Terms and Conditions without prior notification. Any revisions, additions or alterations will be applicable to new agreements but will not affect existing contracts.

10.Complaints:

10.1.            All cleaning services will be deemed to have been provided to the Client's satisfaction.

10.2.            The Client understands that the Company guarantees to rectify any complaints raised within 7 Days of the completion of the service. Any complaints should be submitted in writing via email within 7 days of the cleaning services being completed.

10.3.            Failure to submit a complaint will void the Company's 7 Day service guarantee.

10.4.            End of Tenancy Cleaning Cork are committed to thoroughly investigate any complaint and striving to provide a resolution that satisfies our Clients.

10.5.            The Client agrees to authorise the re-engagement of the cleaners to address any specific areas as outlined in the Landlord's final report. Failure to comply with this directive will lead to the forfeiture of the 7 Day Guarantee and we will regard the issue as resolved.

10.6.            In the event that any building works or other types of work have been carried out on the property after the cleaning service has been provided, we reserve the right to charge an additional minimum fee of €100.00 for any future contract cleaning service.

10.7.            Our cleaners will only re-clean the specific areas that are inclusive of the original standard cleaning service booking that includes any additional paid-for items e.g. carpets, mattress, upholstery etc. Areas or items that were not pre-agreed are not covered under 7 day Guarantee re-cleaning service.

10.8.            Once the 7-day guaranteed period has passed, we may impose a minimum charge of €100 for any additionally agreed cleaning work on the property.

11.Claims

11.1.            The Client agrees that they responsible for inspecting the work immediately upon completion. If any concerns are raised at this time, the cleaners will perform additional work to ensure the Client's complete satisfaction.

11.2.            If the Client or any third party instructed by the Client is not present at the time of completion of the cleaning service, no claims regarding any cleaning issues or future issues within the 7 Day Guarantee can be made.

11.3.            Clients that are not present for the clean will be given at least 1 hours notice for end of work.

When a Client places an order via phone, email, or the website, they enter into a verbal or written agreement and are obligated to adhere to End of Tenancy Cleaning Cork Terms and Conditions.
